Stencil

I forgot to talk about Whidbey this weekend.

We basically got really drunk and played Scrutineyes. It’s every bit as hard as it sounds….

Anyway, the next day, after I got over my coffee-smell-induced nausea (the worst part of waking up is the smell of nasty old coffee made with water that might be tainted with bleach?) and headache, we all spent a few hours tearing up the upstairs and throwing couches, mattresses, and whatever the hell else was up there off the deck and into the yard. Good times.

Anyway, we found a can of spray paint, so I made a stencil out of a garbage bag and tagged my name on stuff.

I sprayed it in like 10 different places, but I only snapped a couple pictures (they were all identical, after all!)

Then, the firewood we piled on the beach started floating away. That was lame.

Hulu

It has come to my attention that I like way too many shows.
I just deleted a bunch of stuff off of my Hulu queue that I didn’t really feel like watching, and I’ve still got like 20 things to watch. That is almost 20 hours of television. Hey-zeus.
And it’s all current stuff, too. We’re not even talking about old seasons of shows I like or anything. Just new episodes from this season. Damn!

Anyway, I’ve also been reading The Middleman comics, because I thought it would be cool. The show is disturbingly accurate (not that there is really anything disturbing about it). If you haven’t seen it, by the way, The Middleman is awesome. The comic book is written by one of the writers from Lost (not that I like Lost, but still), and there are tons (and tons) of pop culture references that basically make the show worth watching on their own. You should go here and watch the pilot.

Other than that, I’m just listening to a song that I haven’t heard in ages.

Conspiracy

The grrbil has been staring at me all morning, and it is kinda creeping me out. I feel like she’s scheming something over there. Everytime I look at her, she’s staring at me, and she’ll make eye contact for a few seconds and then quickly run over to the corner of the cage and hide. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Anyway, we’re heading out to the cabin on Whidbey for one last hurrah before it gets sold. We did the math, and it’s actually cheaper to drive all the way up and over Deception Pass on the way there than it is to take the ferry. Road trip!

Also, I’m cleaning up my deviantART page. Maybe I’ll actually start using it again! *gasp*

This is all very uninteresting news, really, but I had to post something. Sheesh.

Well, my friends, the time has come

To raise the roof and have some fun!

I was just watching How It’s Made (awesome show if you haven’t seen it), and they were making window blinds. As part of the process, they were cutting out the metal casing for that upper part that attaches to the actual window frame and contains all the pulleys for the string that raises and lowers the blinds, and as they were running it through this big punch that cuts out the channels for the string, I noticed something–the music was a crazy instrumental remix of Lionel Ritchie’s All Night Long! What the hell? I mean, seriously. After watching a couple more episodes (marathon, bitches!), I realized that they use that song in a lot of their episodes. I can’t believe I never noticed that until now.

In any case, they are now talking about how milk is made. I’m pretty sure I already know how milk is made….. weirdos.

Mobile blog!

Alright, I admit it; I’m alive. Yeah, yeah.

I guess I basically stopped blogging because I really didn’t have that much to write about, and I talked to all the people who read this pretty regularly. Not that any of that has changed, but I feel like I should at least update every once and a while, and it has been a bit longer than I really intended since the last one.

But yeah! So, I have a new phone, which I am currently writing this from. It’s the HTC G1 (the one and only Android phone, for the time being). It’s basically BA. I’ll probably talk about it more later, but I won’t get into it right now.

It turns out CC is pretty much fucked. I could have told them that a long time ago. They just closed 155 stores last week, including the one Neville used to work at in NYC. Good times.
Oh, and I guess you don’t know (except you probably do, but that’s cool) that I don’t work there anymore! I left in August, and now I work at Harvey Airfield in Snohomish! I mostly fuel planes, but I actually do all sorts of other stuff all over the airport. It’s pretty awesome.

And yeah. That’s really mostly it for now. I’ve been at the house since late yesterday, and I didn’t get up until 1pm today, so, as you can imagine, not much has happened. I need some food, though! Damn!
