I forgot to inform that I did the second interview and got the job… now I just have to put in my two weeks at CC. I’m kind of apprehensive, which is weird. It’s mostly because I like the people I work with, and if they would just make me a freakin’ CSA then everything would be fine, but whatever.
I’m also pretty nervous about working at Best Buy, because everything seems very serious over there–CC is pretty laid back (at least, our store is).
I guess I still have a chance to back out of Best Buy. It honestly would be worth it just to know that they would have hired me within 3 days of my submitting an application. Pretty wicked.
In other news, my laptop appears to have died again. It was having heating issues again, and every once and a while I would have to let it sit for a few minutes when rebooting, because it would beep instead of starting up. Now it beeps everytime. Great.
Anyway, I lugged my PC out of my room, plugged it into the TV, and plugged in my new keyboard [picture after break] (I finally bought a wireless keyboard/mouse combo, even though I’m still convinced that wired is better), and that is where I’m currently typing from. It’s got my laptop drive plugged into it, and I gave it a fresh reformat when I pulled it out here, so it’s in pretty good running order. I think if I leave it on for too long, the video card starts to strain (it’s not accustomed to pumping out 1920×1080 resolution).
Anyway, Dell said they would approve me for a $1500 limit and 60 days without interest, so I’m taking that into consideration, along with the fact that Best Buy would give me as many hours as I want and slightly better pay. It’s all swimming around in my head…

It’s slightly ergonomic, which is normally something I don’t like, but I tried out our display model before I bought it, and it feels really good. Which is weird.
Also, the delete/home/end/etc block is shaped differently than it’s supposed to be, but that hasn’t really bothered me yet. It sort of makes sense, too, but I’m not sure if I like how easy it is to hit the Delete key.
I’m happy with it, either way, and it’s nice having a wireless set with the TV out here, because I can’t really run cables across the room–also, usb extension cables are ridiculously expensive.

congrats
hey at least your backspace key isn’t the smallest key on your keyboard…
Which best buy is it?
I know two people that work at the one by Everett mall : P
I hate when they make the backspace key tiny…
And it’s the Best Buy in Lynnwood. Part of my reasoning is that I wouldn’t have to drive all the way to Everett anymore =P
